2019 Cooper CCM Ventilator Curriculum <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

“Mastering Mechanical Ventilation”<\/p>\n

AIM<\/b><\/span>: The safe and effective delivery of a positive-pressure breath requires an understanding of both basic and advanced concepts in mechanical ventilation. Attempts to teach these concepts are often bested by complexity, inconsistency, and a varied approach. Regardless of previous experience and expertise we are starting over and building from the ground up. We will master mechanical ventilation though a <\/span>learner-centered model<\/span><\/i>. There is <\/span>expected concept overlap <\/span><\/i><\/b>within these core competencies. The repetition and layering of concepts will be key to acquiring each competency. The core competencies are structured around integrated learning not graduated learning. <\/span><\/p>\n
